Laura is co-founder & owner of Green Events. With a focus on content, Laura thinks in practical solutions, connecting the right parties together. She is also the project manager of Plastic Promise, where she is committed to promoting circular plastic use within the entire event industry.

Lyke is co-owner of Green Events. She combines her broad knowledge of social and ecological challenges with her practical experience in the event industry. As a programmer of webinars and conferences, she provides an (online) platform for the most inspiring stories, best practices, and innovations within the event industry. She is also responsible for everything that happens online within the organization.

At Green Events, Gerd-Jan’s passion for entrepreneurship, sustainability, and music converges. With over 30 years of experience leading transformation projects in business (spanning technology, organization, and behavior across nearly all sectors), he is now dedicated to contributing to inclusive, sustainable, and circular events.

Carlijn, the founder of ADE Green, established in 2012, leads the conference program that explores topics at the intersection of music, sustainability, society, and innovation. Her passions encompass nature, spirituality, personal development, and climate justice

As Sustainability Expert at Green Events, Luise is committed to provide a bigger platform for stories about transition-accelerating festivals.

Claudia views festivals as the ideal testing grounds for a more sustainable society, hoping to raise awareness and inspire many people. With years of experience as a producer and project manager for various large events and festivals, she always considers sustainability as a fundamental aspect. This background gives her a deep understanding of the challenges involved in making the industry more sustainable, as well as a solid grasp of the organizational dynamics at play. Currently, within Green Events, she leads the Sustainability Circle for Events and Festivals in The Hague and the Sustainable Deal for Events and Festivals in Rotterdam, where municipalities and organizers collaborate as a collective to create city-wide impact

Lili is the communication manager at Green Events. Motivated by her commitment to creating a greener and fairer future, she seeks to amplify the impact of Green Events. Utilizing her creativity and analytical skills, she effectively communicates key sustainability projects, developments, and success stories to our online audience.

She is constantly seeking solutions that enable the sustainable processing of waste—or, more accurately, resources. Through her efforts, she aims to demonstrate that circularity is achievable and to challenge entrenched mindsets and practices. This is how she drives change in the market!

With her extensive experience in fundraising events for disease-related charities, Tinha possesses the right set of skills to be the central figure in the new project by Green Events and HandicapNL, 'Onbeperkt Feest.' Her commitment and ability to consistently identify opportunities lead to enduring collaborations—she is a true connector.

Tijl was born in Amsterdam and studied philosophy and social sciences before spending several years in Africa. In addition to his extensive experience as a (technical) producer in the cultural events and festival sector, he is one of the driving forces behind Into the Great Wide Open and Lab Vlieland. He passionately applies his knowledge, skills, and network to accelerate the transition towards climate-neutral and circular festivals and a sustainable world. Tijl is a creative, practice-oriented systems thinker and doer, with a strong ability to solve complex challenges

With over twenty years of experience, Chris is a progressive advocate for sustainable festivals in Europe and the United Kingdom. He is a co-initiator of projects such as Vision 2025, Shambala Festival, and Powerful Thinking. With his creative and societal perspective, he understands better than anyone how festivals can contribute to a sustainable and equitable world. Within Green Events, he serves as the project manager for the European collaboration project Future Festival Tools.
